2010 will be a busy and exciting year for Democrats. In addition to all the State-wide offices up for election (Governor, Lt. Gov, Attorney General, Comptrollor) and Congressional Races, the entire County Legistature and County Excecutive seats are also up for election in Chemung. Also, there are races in the Villages of Elmira Heights and Wellsburg in March. The Village of Horseheads will be holding its village elections in November. The County Committee is working very hard to find interested and committed Democratic Candidates for the Village of Horseheads and the entire County Legistlature.

Government needs independent voices to achieve balanced views and progressive approaches to public representation. Consider becoming a candidate for public office.
